Woolrich celebrates Italian design | Collateral

To launch its line of Made in Italy shoes from the Fall/Winter 2022 collection, WoolrichAmerica’s oldest outdoor company, created a campaign featuring four personalities from the Italian design scene.

Sofia Pia Belenki, Annalisa Rosso, Denis Santachiara and Franco RaggI talked about them and what Made in Italy, which has always been synonymous with excellence, quality and craftsmanship, means to them.

Four key personalities whose work, philosophies and personalities reflect the ideals of Woolrich and have a deep understanding of Made in Italy, the absolute strength of the new FW22 footwear collection.

Sofia Pia Belenki is a New York-based architect who lives and works in Milan. Sofia is a researcher and designer at Space Caviar where she uses art, event and exhibition design, research, writing and film as forms of an expanded mode of architectural practice.

Annalisa Rosso is the editorial director of the new digital project of Salone del Mobile Milano. She co-founded the Mr.Lawrence studio, served as director of Icon Design and edited the Domus journal website.

Denis Santachiara is the famous father of techno-poetic neo-design. For him, Made in Italy means knowing how to sell dreams.

Franco Raggi is a key figure in the Italian radical design movement, former editor of Casabella and Fashion magazine. He believes that Made in Italy is a special relationship with materials, craftsmanship and tradition, but always constantly updated.
