Nike Dunk Low will now arrive in a “Halloween” outfit with shaggy overlays and creepy green bottoms
Nike is set to release a gruesome selection of footwear this Halloween as October draws to a close. Oregon-based sportswear giant Nike is coming up with a Halloween Released Dunk Low, giving the shoe collection a spooky twist.
In addition to the Dunk Low shoes, Nike gave a similar nasty treatment to other iconic silhouettes, including Nike Air Max Plus, Dip highAir Max 90 and Air Max Plus 3.
The description of the upcoming Nike Dunk Low Halloween variant on the Swoosh website reads:
“Come, come to the cauldron of vintage hoop style. Shadows creep under the Swoosh, while premium leather captivates all who watch. The reflective upper casts the perfect shine. And a macabre green outsole – well, it’s a goddamn freak. Lace up and beware, this basketball icon is scary.
The complete shoe will arrive packaged in an Iron Gray / Phantom-Scream Green color scheme. This low model is upholstered in a smooth iron gray leather base with distressed leather reinforcements. These leather trims adorn the mudguards, lacing systems, ankle flaps and heel counters, which are colored in a muted “Phantom” hue.
A slight logo outline, along with leather swooshes, are placed on the medial side which adds a second appearance, dissipating the swoosh.
While the rears feature exaggerated text with a bloody breeze, the nylon tongues feature Nike branding emblems in a square frame. Interior linings, executed with matching gray textiles, are paired with juxtaposed green insoles. Vibrant green insoles are stamped with Nike swoosh branding accents.
The aesthetic is finalized with White midsoles, which are united with Scream Green speckled Grind Rubber outsole units that complete the look of the Halloween-themed offering.
Save the dates for the arrival of the Nike Dunk Low “Halloween” shoes which are expected to drop next week, a few days before October 31 which will mark the Halloween 2022 celebrations.
