The Air Jordan 7 Cardinal shoes will be back for the fourth time since 1992
The Air Jordan 7 story on the official Nike website reads as follows:
“Since his game-winning shot that brought championship glory to North Carolina, Michael Jordan has been at the forefront of basketball consciousness. He took to the court in 1985 wearing the Air Jordan I original, simultaneously breaking league rules and the will of its opponents while capturing the imagination of fans around the world.
2022 is pretty special for the seventh shoe in the Jordan family, as this year marks the 30th anniversary of this member, who was inducted in 1992. Anyone who has diligently followed Air Jordan 7 sneaker releases is likely aware of the importance of the OG. The “Cardinal” colorway is for the seventh shoe family.
That’s why the Jordan brand has brought these shoes back many times before, and the most recent launch will be their fourth introduction. For those unknown, the shoes were re-released in 2006 and 2011.
The entire leather upper is nicely wrapped in White, while hits of Red, Black, and Gunmetal are scattered throughout. When examined closely, fans can see sleek white leathers are combined with textured white counterparts to achieve the design of these pairs.
Additionally, the side panels, as well as the midfoot areas, are loaded with asymmetrical perforations for breathability and detail. The white textile tongues are covered with white eyelets and laces.
These Cardinal shoe tongues feature ‘AIR JORDAN’ lettering in black.
Next, the white-collar related areas are decorated with contrasting bronze Jumpman badges. These soft padded collars feature red inner linings, emphasizing the features of these shoes.
The heel tabs are another attractive part. These heel counters feature Michael’s jersey number “23”, which is red and black. Above the jersey number, the bronze-colored pull tabs are placed on it.
Lastly, coming to the soles, they are fashioned in red, white and black. Here, the Air units are not visible like the other models and are instead covered in jagged patterns. The majority of the soles are covered in black.
Fans can set reminders for upcoming OG Air Jordan 7 Cardinal sneakers. They can rock their winter vacation with these shoes which will come in different sizes including men’s, elementary school, preschool, baby and toddler.
While the first two are marked at $210 and $150, the other two will be available for $85 and $65, respectively. Get these AJ7 pairs from Nike’s online store and other select sellers.
