Nike’s overachieving sub-label, Jordan Brand, has already prepared its calendar for next year, with one of the most anticipated Air Jordan 4 Retro “Thunder” colorways on the roster. These classic sneaker models will be reissued in the summer of 2023.

The coveted Air Jordan 4 Retro “Thunder” sneaker edition is set to hit the footwear market on May 13, 2023. These shoes will be available in Mens, Elementary School, Preschool, and Infant/Toddler variants. While the men’s and elementary school pairs will cost $210 and $150 respectively, the preschool pair will cost $85 and the infant/toddler pair will cost $65.

For those unfamiliar with the brand, the first Jordan Brand item to hit the global market was the Air Jordan 4. Another milestone for the silhouette was its appearance in the Spike Lee movie. do the right thing, which went beyond basketball and had a huge cultural impact. Since its introduction into the Jordan sneaker collection, Air Jordan 4 has been given various enchanting makeovers. Many of these makeovers have been reintroduced time and time again by the shoe brand. Summer 2023 will see the return of another much-loved old AJ4 “Thunder” edition.

The Air Jordan 4 Retro Thunder was first introduced in 2006. The Thunder colorway received a retro update in 2012 in very limited quantities, so a reappearance over a decade later shouldn’t come as much of a surprise.

The shoe will have a black/white-tour yellow color scheme. Although most of the uppers are wrapped in black suede panels, blocks of Tour Yellow and bright white will make these pairs more attractive.

The toes are crafted from black suede panels, which are complemented with similar tongues and sidewalls. The characteristic net is also noticeable in black, which has elements of yellow placed below.

Tour Yellow additionally appears on the eyelets and on the lining behind the tongues. Branded accents on the heel tabs, pull tabs and down the outsoles complete the shoe.

These pairs will come in custom Cement Gray shoe boxes to match the shoe theme.
