The Seattle Storm’s season didn’t end the way most basketball fans had hoped. The Las Vegas Aces knocked out the Storm and ended Sue Bird’s storybook career.
But the future remains bright in the Emerald City. Eternal WNBA All-Star Breanna Stewart is at the height of her career. Puma recognizes Stewart’s elite skills and markets the power of the Storm worldwide.
In the lead up to the release of Stewart’s first signature sneaker, Puma has been promoting the unreleased basketball shoe in every way possible. However, Puma’s latest Instagram video involving a goat might be the best ad yet.
Puma has also been very busy marketing Skylar Diggins-Smith. Playmaker Phoenix Mercury has received his own clothing line and PE (Player Exclusive) colorways of popular shoes. But back to Stewart, everything hoops fans need to know about his next signature shoe is below.
Puma Stewie 1
The Puma Stewie 1 launches Friday, September 16 for $120. Fans can purchase the “Quiet Fire” colorway from Puma’s website and select retailers. The vibrant neon yellow and black colorway is inspired by Stewart’s on-pitch demeanor and Storm’s alternate uniforms.

The low hoop shoe includes extra padding around the ankle collar, which was a specific request from Stewart after missing the 2019 season with a torn Achilles tendon.
Puma plans to release several colorways in the coming months. A purple colorway dubbed “Causing Trouble” and a red/navy colorway called “Four Time” paying homage to his college career at UConn are both on the way. Additionally, Stewie’s 9-item clothing collection went on sale in October.
Unfortunately, this is a short list of WNBA players to receive a signature basketball shoe. But Stewart and Puma continue to break the mould. Stay locked in FanNationKicks.com for the latest news, highlights, and interviews.
