Todd Snyder has opened his sixth permanent store in Brooklyn, in the Williamsburg neighborhood of New York. “When I opened my first store in midtown Manhattan in the early 2010s, Williamsburg was just starting to enter the conversation as the next booming neighborhood. Now here we are ten years later, and Williamsburg is become one of New York’s most idyllic neighborhoods with a strong offering of some of the best shopping, dining, arts and entertainment,” Snyder says. “We’ve developed such a large following in Brooklyn, especially in Williamsburg, that we We are delighted to be welcomed in this neighborhood.”

The 3,000 square foot store is in the historic Mill building on North 3rd Street and Wythe Ave. The store’s arrival stands out clearly in the neighborhood, with the brick exterior painted in Todd’s signature Snyder Olive, bright orange benches and planters of greenery along the storefront.

Upon entering the space, visitors are greeted by a utilitarian mid-century reimagining of industrial space. The space, lit by a translucent globe, showcases the original structure’s utilitarian framing and brickwork, refined with plank and batten walls painted in Snyder Olive and natural pine floors in chevron stripes.

The main entrance features a curated boutique of Todd’s greatest hits, including American-made denims and shirts, Italian suede Dylan jackets, LA-made indigo t-shirts, and a selection of unique vintage jewelry and rare from Foundwell atop a vintage pool table from 1stDibs.

Past the entrance is the store’s main multi-room boutique overlooking Wythe Ave. Custom woodwork and fixtures continue in the signature Snyder Olive brand, with custom brass details and fixtures. The second room offers an assortment of summer essentials, such as the best-selling Weekend Short, RIviera Sweater polo shirts and a range of shirts in Irish Sea Soft linen, seersucker and souvenir prints. The back room showcases a mix of luxury essentials, showcasing staple pieces like a huge assortment of Italian cashmere, Italian sports coats, Oxford Selvedge and Dylan suede jackets. The boutique is complete with a wall of sunglasses highlighting Todd’s longstanding partnership with New York-based eyewear brand Moscot, as well as a boutique-to-boutique Aēsop experience, a signature partnership for the brand, with the famous care and perfume products of the apothecary brand. .

The space continues with a swim boutique, showcasing an assortment of the brand’s first-ever swimwear, terrycloth cabana sets, Made in LA tees, and luxe linen sweaters. Some of Todd’s favorite brands are present, such as jewelry from Miansai and M.Cohen, towels from Lateral Objects, Freedom Moses and shoes and accessories made in Spain by Guanabana.

The store wouldn’t be complete without the brand’s signature shoe store, with walls filled with favorite shoe brands from Todd, New Balance, Vans and Converse to Alden, Birkenstock, Paraboot and more. This boutique will serve as the premier footwear destination for the neighborhood and will continually introduce new styles and exclusive collaborations for customers. Off the shoe shop is a bespoke integrated bar, where customers are invited to enjoy a glass of whiskey or a cocktail while shopping for the latest collections. At the top of the bar is an assortment of Musgo Real perfumes, as well as a display case of vintage watches ranging from Rolex, Omega and Cartier unearthed by our friends at Foundwell.

The location will continually carry a number of brand- and space-exclusive collaborations and brands, making this Williamsburg location a neighborhood-wide discovery space. The store offers an exclusive offering of one-of-a-kind American workwear, outdoor wear and Ivy-prep clothing sourced by Brian M. Davis, founder of Wooden Sleepers in New York. This location also features an exclusive assortment of bags and clogs from King Kennedy Rugs, the Made in LA brand that uses vintage rugs and textiles from around the world to create wearable works of art. As with all stores, Todd’s signature and attention to detail is evident in the finishes. Each room balances utilitarian-inspired details with rare mid-century furniture and artwork, sourced from places like New York-based dealer Hudson, Finch, and around the world via 1stDibs. The artwork has been handpicked by Todd and features a selection of works from the renowned Corey Daniels Gallery in Maine. Rooms are accented with rare book table tops available for purchase, rugs from ABC Carpet & Home, Morris & Co. wallpapers and lighting from Roman & Williams Guild.

“As we expand into key growth markets, the design of our stores and how they support our sales goals is extremely important. The Todd Snyder Williamsburg store is open now, Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. ET and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. ET. The location will offer same-day courier service, private shopping appointments, in-house tailoring and bespoke services. This is the brand’s sixth location, with a seventh opening in early fall in Los Angeles, the brand’s first West Coast flagship.
