Ten practical products to organize your wardrobe

0

I think the most terrifying millennial problem these days is – a messy wardrobe! No matter how hard you try to organize it, how many excessive clothes you throw away, or how inspired by Marie Kondo you are, one way or another, your wardrobe always comes back to Messy Kingdown. My wardrobe is still a chronic mess, and just when I had given up hope that it would ever turn into a visual delight, I came across some interesting products. From a hanger that spins like clockwork to a smart shoe closet to store your shoes – here’s a collection of innovative, economical and practical products designed to help you achieve your wardrobe goals! Not only do these products make it easier to locate your clothes, halving the time you take to get ready in the morning, but they also make them look a little better. Which of these nifty products can’t you wait to try? !

1. Ploud

To give us an intriguing alternative to more seemingly hanging clothes, so they don’t lose their ironing and are deodorized like the scent of the sky by the weather: Dawn, morning, evening, night; a Korean designer designed the Ploud. Ploud is essentially a versatile hanger, which allows you to hang clothes in two ways: hang them as you traditionally would or tie them in a convenient way. For example, shirts, pants, coats, dresses, etc. can be hung as usual, while accessories like ties, mufflers, bags, hats, etc. can be clipped. This interesting hanger concept is quite different from a plethora of hangers that we have seen and used in our time. It has nothing to do with the usual plastic, metal, wooden or travel, lingerie, dress or trouser hangers.

2. The Samsung Air Dresser

The wardrobe has room for six hanging garments and includes a set of weighted hangers to help eliminate trouser creases. The AirDresser is safe to use for suits, wool garments, knits, down, fur, leather and denim making it super versatile and functional. Samsung also mentions that it’s good to use it for cleaning baby clothes (definitely a lot of cycles there!), toys and even bedding. I think the piece of bedding is so important because the traditional washer-dryer ties my bed sheet in such knots and we all know “tangles” are no good (right, Smiths?) . It also saves water and makes laundry easier for the elderly! The sanitize cycle program uses high temperature steam which can kill 99% of common bacteria and mites.

3. The Obstacle Hanger

Most hangers aren’t really consciously designed because they always play second fiddle to the most important wardrobe items… the clothes. The Hurdle Hanger, on the other hand, is thoughtfully designed to ensure it supports and protects the clothes you’re wearing. It comes with a slightly distorted and asymmetrical design that gives it strength as well as the ability to hold all your clothes. Its unique shape allows you to slip shirts and t-shirts in it in a second, without stretching the neckline. The same shape gives the Hurdle its ability to easily hold scarves, as well as easily hang pants. A larger loop (the Type C hook) at one end of the hanger even supports belts, allowing you to hang them by the loop.

4. The ShoeSpace Stackable Shoe Organizer

The ShoeSpace stackable shoe organizer is perfect for organizing your kicks! You can place the organizer inside your closet or hang it on the wall, making your shoes easily accessible and within your reach. You won’t have to maneuver through piles of shoes or rummage through shoe racks looking for your favorite sneakers. It stores each pair of shoes separately. You can organize 10 pairs of shoes in a space that is 18 inches high, 30 inches long and 12 inches deep. You can place multiple ShoeSpaces on top of each other, creating the ultimate shoe storage section! Pretty cool, right?

5. The BUNKE Collapsible Drawer Clothes Organizer

The BUNKE Collapsible Drawer Clothes Organizer makes it easy to choose your outfit every morning! Tired of sifting through piles of clothes hoping to find the black sweater you love? Well, the BUNKE allows you to fold and lock individual garments inside. Just place your favorite black sweater in BUNKE, fold it up, zip it up, and put it in your closet. It perfectly organizes your clothes and also makes them very easy to locate. BUNKE is created from a flexible and compostable type of plastic, so you can fit it into even the tightest corners!

6. The compact hanger

Look at the Compact Hanger and you’ll notice that the hook is almost recessed into the shape of the hanger…much like the hanger is shrugging. Drape your clothes over the compact hanger and hang it in your closet, you’ll notice two things. A. Your clothes hang closer to the hanging rod, and B. That 6-8 inches reappears as free space at the bottom of your closet, allowing you to stack boxes, clothes, folders, appliances or a bunch of other items, increasing your closet storage capacity by a cool 10-15%. Designed in Italy (a fact that doesn’t surprise me, considering how design and fashion centric the whole country is), the defining feature of the Compact Hanger is that shrugged design.

7. The dressing room chair

The Coat Check chair is the winner of several design awards, including the coveted IDEA award and the Spark award. Flipping traditional furniture (and cabinetry) design on its head, the chair comes in a stainless steel frame and even different powder coated color options. You can even choose the color of the hanger, giving you the feeling of choosing the upholstery for your furniture! Hangers can be used as seats, or periodically even in your closet to hang your clothes. When you’re done, slide them into the chair, giving them more meaning, purpose, and visibility than they’d get somewhere in a dark corner of your stuffy closet!

8. The COMODO shoe closet

Check out the COMODO shoe closet that doubles as an ottoman to sit on while you wear your freshly cleaned pair of sneakers for the weekend basketball game. The name is derived from the Spanish word “Cómodo” which means practical and pleasant in Spanish. Design Studio Designer Dot and designer Hyeona Cho have come up with a cool shoe closet featuring next-age sanitizing technology to keep your pair of shoes away from moisture and any bacterial or fungal buildup. The highly sought-after device comes with a HEPTA filter (seen on most air purifiers), a UV lamp (for effective germ protection), and a scent filter (to make you want to wear those shoes).

9. Laundry

Store your clean, dry, out-of-laundry clothes in the Laundroid’s lowest compartment and two robotic hands grab your clothes and hold them against a scanner that uses image recognition and superior AI to determine fabric type and the best way to fold it. The robotic arms then use a patented process to line up the clothes the right way and fold them neatly, finally storing them in the overhead compartment, separated and ready to wear. A single button on the top of the Laundroid lets you set the time you need the laundry folded and the robots get to work almost immediately.

10. Emotion Hanger

Jinwook Lee’s Emotion Hanger is a thought bubble in wardrobe accessory avatar. Its quirky design features the traditional triangular design of hanging clothes, however, its hanging hook is designed as a question mark. A question mark that turns into an exclamation point when you select an outfit! The way you use an Emotion Hanger is quite simple. All your outfits stay hanging and organized in your closet, with the ‘?’ symbol hovering just above them. During the process of selecting an outfit, you rotate the triangular element of the hanger so that the outfit is facing you. When you find the perfect outfit, the hanger ‘?’ effectively turns into a ‘!’ as a kind of exclamation that you have found the perfect outfit!
