We may never play with the genius of Roger Federer, but now we can put ourselves in the shoes of the Swiss superstar.
The 20-time Grand Slam champion unveiled his new shoe, The Roger Procreated in collaboration with the Swiss shoemaker On.
“Super excited to hit the market in more numbers with the Roger Pro,” Federer posted on Instagram. “We spent a lot of time perfecting it.”
On’s first-ever tennis competition shoe, co-created with Federer, is $199.99
On the shoe bills as “Performance experience meets performance technology”.
Federer, 40, has a partial stake in On.
The Roger Pro is the second shoe Federer helped create with On.
It comes after the July 2020 launch of The Roger, an immaculate all-ivory shoe, reminiscent of adidas’ classic Stan Smith model.
“I’m proud to be part of the creation of The Roger,” Federer said. “This is the most comfortable tennis-inspired sneaker you’ll ever wear.”
Carrying the slogan “Swiss Engineering Meets the Swiss Maestro”, the shoe features a small Swiss flag near the heel with his name “The Roger” inlaid in gold lettering above the flag.
