If you’ve seen Rihanna since she announced her pregnancy, you know her recent fashion choices are redefining maternity clothes. But when it comes to her shoes, the billionaire seems to prioritize what we all want in our shoes: comfort.
The Fenty Beauty founder was just spotted wearing a matching Alaïa two-piece set while dining in Malibu with boyfriend A$AP Rocky. In stark contrast to her bumpless designer outfit, Rihanna styled her skirt and bra with affordable classic Adidas Samba shoes, proving that not all comfortable shoes for pregnant women are chunky and – excuse our candor – ugly.

The Samba was originally made in 1950 with soccer and football players in mind, but has since become a street staple. It has the same leather upper and iconic three stripes as other Adidas shoes (like the Superstars), but is distinguished by a gum rubber outsole and oversized tongue. They also have a padded footbed that provides support for comfortable all-day wear, which is essential for moms-to-be.
These shoes are not only loved by Hollywood, but also by many Adidas buyers, who gave them an average rating of 4.6 stars and love them for everyday wear. One five-star reviewer claimed they were “the best shoes ever”, while another said they were “money well spent”.
The Adidas Samba Classics are available in white and black from Adidas and Zappos, but now that they have Rihanna’s stamp of approval, they aren’t expected to hang around for long.
