The Nike ACG has a long and illustrious heritage. The “All Conditions Gear” brand had a cult following when it was first released in the 1980s, but was decommissioned in the mid-90s. The line was relaunched in 2014 with the help of techwear pioneer Errolson Hugh.

Hugh is still a Nike partner. However, his involvement in the ACG line ended in 2018.

The official description of the newly arrived Nike ACG Lowcate Wolf Gray reads as follows:

“Built to keep you racking up the miles on the trails, the ACG Lowcate delivers performance for any hiker. Designed and tested in the rugged Pacific Northwest, the mixed-material upper combines durability and breathability with style easy.

“Its two-piece rubber outsole features hard rubber in high-abrasion areas and works with softer, tackier rubber under the forefoot and arch to maximize traction on slippery and rocky terrain. A midfoot strap locks in the fit, while a Trailframe underfoot provides support, especially when hauling heavy loads.

Shortly after the release of the Nike ACG in the summer of 2022, the Nike ACG Lowcate is now available for purchase.

The ACG Lowcate was pushed to its limits in the hilly Pacific Northwest and proven to be tough outdoor gear.

Sneakers are shoes suitable for all terrain, thanks to design components such as the stud-like rubber outsole. The rugged design of this “Wolf Grey” rendition features gray suede across the upper, which is accented with blue mesh throughout. Mesh blue toes are also contoured with gray suedes.

Premium suedes are also used for the eyelets, medial sides and heel tabs. A pop of color is added to the gray eyelets by pairing them nicely with orange and gray speckled laces.

To add more details, the bright purple hits are used to design the usual swooshes on the side sides.

The coveted ACG branding is added to various areas of the shoe, including the heel tabs and side rails.

Bright orange painted insoles are stamped with:

“All-conditions gear. Designed, tested, and manufactured on planet Earth for outdoor use.

The style is complete with a “Trailframe” midsole unit, whose lettering sits atop the pristine white midsoles. Ultimately, an all-black outsole will be etched with “All Conditions Gear” text towards the forefoot.

Don’t forget to get your hands on the new Wolf Gray Nike ACG Lowcate, which is currently available at the Nike SNKRS online store and other authorized retailers.
