Police are looking for 3 armed suspects in Lambeth jewelery robbery


London Police have released descriptions of three suspects wanted in connection with a brazen robbery at a jewelry store in Lambeth on Monday afternoon.

It happened at Bella Jewelry on Main Street around 3 p.m. Police say three male suspects entered the store brandishing weapons, including a hammer and a handgun.

One of the suspects damaged display cases inside the store, police said.

The suspects fled without stealing anything and no injuries were reported, investigators said.

The three men were last seen heading south from the store in a red vehicle.

Police released the following descriptions:

  • Male, dark complexion, wearing white hoodie, white jeans, white running shoes, white gloves, carrying hammer
  • Male, dark complexion, wearing a black/blue hoodie, white shirt, black pants, blue sneakers, carrying a small gray backpack, wearing white/black gloves and wearing a firearm.
  • Male, dark complexion, wearing black hooded jacket, white shorts, dark cargo pants, black running shoes and white gloves

The investigation was taken over by members of the London Police Street Crime Unit.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call police at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. Information may also be submitted online anonymously to London Middlesex Crime Stoppers.
