Los Angeles Lakers forward james lebron already had a hectic month. Last week, Nike announced the release date for James’ 20th signature shoe, the Nike LeBron 20. However, that wasn’t the shoe ‘King James’ wore in Los Angeles on Monday.

Nike LeBron 2 Retro ‘Maccabi’
During NBA Media Day 2022, James wore the Nike LeBron 2 in the “Maccabi” colorway. The retro basketball shoe is set to release on September 28, 2022, for $215. Fans can purchase the classic kicks on the SNKRS app and at select retailers.
The ‘Maccabi’ colourway comes from a pair of Player Exclusive (PE) boots worn by James during a pre-season against Maccabi Elite team Tel Aviv in 2004.
The colourway features a gold upper, white leather overlay and ankle strap. The sturdy model includes Zoom cushioning in the midsole. True to form, the retro James logo also appears on the shoes.
