Jake Gyllenhaal attended the UK premiere of his new film ‘Strange World’ at Cineworld, Leicester Square today in London. Banding together, the ‘Brokeback Mountain’ actor epitomized fall in warm hues and pointed black shoes.
The actor layered up, sporting a beige and yellow sweater over a striped yellow shirt that peeked out from under his sweater collar. Downstairs, the 41-year-old wore straight black trousers which were overshadowed by the oversized black coat he sported with a boxy silhouette and silky lapels.
Sticking to the classics, Gyllenhaal walked the carpet in a classic pair of black lace-up black dress shoes, the leather shoes giving the “Nightcrawler” star a wide range of motion while riding through the flash of cameras. Formal shoes featured short block heels and a sleek silhouette with a shiny leather finish. The style is a closet staple for many men for its versatility and comfort.
Gyllenhaal is known for his sharp red carpet style, which often includes tonal suits and shirts, clean cuts and bold prints from brands like The Row, Valentino and Brioni. When it comes to shoes, the actor often opts for polished boots, laces and slip-on loafers from designers like Christian Louboutin. When not on duty, he can regularly be seen in Adidas and Nike sneakers, as well as Timberland boots. Recently, the actor has also appeared in campaigns as the face of Prada’s Luna Rossa Ocean fragrance.
“Strange World” is a Disney original action-adventure film that takes viewers on a journey deep into an uncharted and treacherous land where fantastical creatures await with the legendary Clades, a family of explorers, whose differences threaten to overturn their last – and by far – most crucial mission. Star-studded actors include Dennis Quaid, Gabrielle Union, and Lucy Liu, among others.
