The 13,000 square foot store opened to the public on Monday and is Guccilargest location in Vegas. It completes its stores at The Shops at Via Bellagio with 5,500 square feet, The Shops at Caesars with 10,000 square feet and Crystals shopsencompassing 12,000 square feet in the CityCenter complex.
“The Gucci Boutique at Shops at Wynn was designed with the Las Vegas lifestyle in mind and tailored to the Wynn shopper,” said Federico Turconi, President and CEO of Gucci Americas. “The expansive store provided space to design an elevated customer experience from the moment visitors enter the store.”
The two floors of the store are connected by a curved staircase. On the lower level, there is a spacious VIP shopping area with a private lounge and access to a private Italian garden where guests can relax and enjoy the lagoon and a restored ancient Italian fountain from Rome.
Antique furniture and light fixtures complement the pink velvets used for upholstery and dressing rooms. Vintage oriental rugs are layered for a textured effect.
The store is large enough for Gucci to show off their full collection. This includes ready-to-wear, footwear, handbags, accessories, jewelry, luggage, Gucci home decor and Gucci beauty.
“As a nod to Las Vegas, the boutique will also offer an expanded eveningwear offering through ready-to-wear and accessories, as well as pieces from Gucci’s high jewelry and precious leather goods collections. We have also created limited edition game pieces in honor of the opening that will only be available at Wynn stores,” said Turconi.
Game pieces include a limited edition dice set, poker set and playing card deck wrapped in a crocodile leather case.
The Shops at Wynn will be the only Gucci location in Las Vegas, and only one of seven Gucci locations, selling the Gucci ha ha ha collection, which is a collaboration launched in June between British artist Harry Styles and the creative director of Gucci Alessandro Michele. The line takes its name from the combination of the first names of Harry and Alessandro.
Their collaborative menswear collection is a wardrobe defined by whimsical prints, vintage details and romantic accents.
“Las Vegas continues to be a very important market for Gucci,” Turconi explained. “The market attracts customers from around the world looking to experience the decadence of the Las Vegas lifestyle.”
