Edmonton police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects in the armed robbery of a liquor store last month.

On February 26 at approximately 12:50 a.m., the Edmonton Police Service (EPS) said they received a report of a man and woman entering a liquor store in the 92nd Street and Stadium Road. After looking at liquor throughout the store, the suspects allegedly approached the cash register, pointed a handgun at the cashier and demanded money, police said.

Police said no injuries were reported and the duo left with “several hundred dollars” and a bottle of alcohol.

EPS detectives took over the investigation and released video of the theft in hopes of identifying the suspects.

The male suspect is believed to be between 20 and 25 years old, 5’10” tall and of average build. Police said he was dressed in black clothes with black running shoes with white soles.

The suspect is described as aged between 20 and 25, 5ft 6in with a heavy build and officers said she was wearing a black hooded top, a red bandana around her neck and brown boots with white soles.
