British menswear brand Charles Tyrwhitt has announced centre:mk Milton Keynes, one of the UK’s top 10 retail destinations, will be the first location of a new store design to be rolled out United Kingdom. Scheduled to open in late August, the 1,455 square foot store will be located at 27 Silbury Arcade and will feature Tyrwhitt’s forward-thinking store format showcasing the brand’s full collection of fine menswear.
Bringing cutting-edge designs to center:mk customers for the first time, the store will include a range of new technology features, including interactive QR codes and engaging digital visuals to display the brand’s creative content. One-on-one styling appointments and bespoke shirting and suiting services will also be available, demonstrating Tyrwhitt’s philosophy of “making it easy for men to dress well.” Charles Tyrwhitt’s new space at centre:mk joins the brand’s customer service and distribution center in Milton Keynes, furthering its commitment to the region.
Since the brand’s inception in 1986, Charles Tyrwhitt has strived to provide high quality British menswear including shirts, suits, casualwear, footwear and accessories. The brand has also made progress through its continued commitment to climate positive projects and has been carbon neutral since the start of 2022. The new Charles Tyrwhitt:mk store will feature the brand’s famous shirt recycling program, rewarding customers who bring in old shirts – ‘Tyrwhitt or not’ – with in-store discounts. The brand’s journey towards a more sustainable business aligns with centre:mk’s ambitions to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2035.

This latest addition to centre:mk’s menswear offering builds on growing customer demand for a wider range, with sales up 7% on a comparable 2019 period from 1-25 July, and complements Ted Baker, which recently opened on Silbury Arcade, Hawes & Curtis, and the extensive menswear offering available at John Lewis.

Charles Tyrwhitt is the latest high-end retailer to join the destination, with recent openings of Loupe in June and Ted Baker in July.
