Armed robbery of cell phone store in Burlington Mall, suspects still at large

Three men walked out of a Burlington store with $200,000 worth of cell phones.

Halton Police are investigating the robbery that took place at the Burlington Center.

At approximately 8 p.m. yesterday, April 6, three suspects entered the Rogers Wireless store inside the Burlington Mall and demanded cell phones while one suspect held up a taser.

The suspects loaded trash bags containing approximately $200,000 worth of phones and fled in a waiting vehicle driven by a fourth suspect.

The vehicle is a white 2019 Kia Sedona with Ontario registration CJWL 247. The vehicle was reported stolen in York Region.

No physical injuries to the employees were reported to the police.

The suspects are described as:

  • Suspect 1: Male, black, slim build. He wore a black hoodie with a vertical white panel that had the word “Reckless” embroidered on it. Also wearing a black baseball cap and white shoes.
  • Suspect 2: Male, black, thin build. He wore a black full-zip hoodie with black sweatpants and white running shoes.
  • Suspect 3: Male, black, medium build. He wore a gray full-zip hoodie with black pants and black high-top sneakers.
